something impacted me in quite a large way lately, as my parents and i rushed to ward 7C last friday morning friends and family were already crying hard and looking away. i peered into the room and saw my friend with whom i had just talked to on the phone last night sitting beside the bed with her brother standing next to her, she was crying along with many others crowded in the room. my friend's mom was outside the ward talking to nurses, tears filled her face and fell from her eyes. my dad and mom and i put our hands on him and prayed for him. i started realizing that this was going to be a final goodbye. after praying we stepped away a bit with the others. me and her and yvonne the three of us then went up again to represent the youth in saying to him that we will carry on his mission to help the poor and take care of the minorities and orphans and widows. i didnt know how to say it to him. i did not know if he was still here yet. maybe he cud still hear me. and she was beside me, not able to say anything but just weep while we both held her. i told him we would grow up and walk in God's ways. i told him not to worry about his daughter. i told him we would grow together. i did not know how to say a proper goodbye, so i didn't. i just backed off. at that moment i remembered him telling me to take care of his daughter. that was about two years ago, we were at pastor lau's home. he was the kindest man i know and the only pastor beside my dad that i would run to when i see. the last hug he gave me was three months ago at the hospital, the day he found out about his body condition. they told me not to talk about him because it was a sad thing. i think that if you miss a person you have to say it out. i just have to write these out, hopefully i can sleep again now. i will pray for her and him and her, for a long, long time.
